One of the biggest lessons I learned when my dog became paralyzed is that I could share a positive message and hopefully help others. If I would have felt sorry for myself and Frankie it still would not have changed the fact that Frankie was paralyzed. But by sharing her positive message that animals can live a quality life with a disability shines a bright light of hope into the world. We have received wonderful feed back from many... even saved a dachshund or two. And we helped a little boy with CP accept wearing his brace. Animals teach us so much and sharing their messages is an honor for me.
I strongly encourage others to share their stories... and give back in a beautiful way.

The best gift I have received as a writer is to have another writer listen to my thoughts about my progress as a writer, my plans and goals, and also to have someone read something I've written and to give encouragement and constructive feedback.
